Practical Physical and Emotional Peace of Mind.
Hey everyone, this is to let you know that our business site www.wherethereisawill.com.au is quite a unique site in that it offers practical and emotional peace of mind to each person who becomes a client.
Our site is so much more than the name implies, in fact we don't do wills at all, funny about that.
No, our site is like a compass when it comes to recording where a person keeps any items or documents that are important to them, as our site points to where the item is located but we do not record the contents of the item.
However, our site is more than that, as people can record their health details as well and then have a card printed out that can go in their wallet or purse that will assist should anything untoward happen to them, as their health details are at hand.
Likewise, the same can be done for any pets that they may be looking after, as a pet card can also be printed out.
So as you can see, we offer real and practical peace of mind value to our clients.
We encourage people to check out our site and conduct a test search on our make believe client, Happy Jan DOB 14/02/1954 in order to see the range of things that she has recorded on the site.
Then, if they like what they see, we invite them to join our site via our Special Offers link, which at the moment is offering a free lifetime listing, along with a bonus gift if they record four or more items on our site.
We make this current offer because each person who joins adds to the creditability of our standing as a valuable and worthwhile site.
There is also a 'Useful Links' section of the site and in this area we are happy to promote other businesses provided that they fall within the categories we have listed. For example, if you go to Useful Links - Life Coaches Health and Wealth you can see the details of some of our fellow friends, and I am waiting for more to add their details.
Mind you, a big question in all of this that lurks at the back of peoples minds who are considering joining our site covers the matter of privacy and our position is covered in question 12 of our 'Frequently asked Questions' section of the site.
So there it is. I believe that we have an excellent site and In fact we invite you to join the site to see for yourself just how great a site we are.

Medical and Pet cards
One of the key reasons for people becoming a client of Where There Is A Will is to make it easy for those who need to be able to access their information to do so without fuss or frustration as when an emergency is involved, and time is of the essence.
As a means of assisting our clients who wish to have an additional level of peace of mind when it comes to matters concerning their personal health and the care of any pets they may have, we have created a print out the size of a credit card designed to fit into a wallet or purse.
This will help should an incident take place, such as fainting while out walking, or suddenly collapsing in a shopping centre. The first thing that the police and/or medical crew try to establish is the identity of the person whose aid they have come to. By having the information on the card on hand it means that enquiries regarding medical history of the person involved can be sought with one quick call, and that before the person has arrived at any hospital the right medication can be available and administered without delay.
When it comes to recording details of a person's medication our clients can either make reference to the prescribing Doctor or Medical Clinic, or they can record the actual medication and dosage amounts. All we ask them to do is to remember to update the information when either a change in their medication has taken place or their treatment has concluded.
As far as pets go, the card would be very handy for clients who may live alone as it will indicate to the authorities that there may be a distressed animal back at the clients residence and that suitable short term accommodation may need to be arranged for their pet's while our client is recovering from their injury.
To give you an example of how the card appears, we are showing some of the information that our fake client Happy Jan DOB 14/02/1954 has recorded on our site:
The following information has been found for Happy Jan:

Using the Useful Links section of our site.
In our site we have a section titled Useful Links that contains a variety of headings that bracket together a number of relevant and interesting articles and information posts that may be helpful to anyone who uses our site.
Last night I had cause to put one of these to the test, as a great friend that Viv and I met and got to know and appreciate during our recent rounds of training experienced the emotional rainbow that accompanies having a close family loved one pass away.
I wanted to send a message to them that expressed our love for them while at the same time offering encouragement for the future and to let them know that we are also here for them, at any day and at any time.
Seeing as I often struggle to find what is the best thing to say when it comes to matters of the emotions I thought that I would seek some professional help when it came to the actual content of the wording for what we wanted to say.
I went to the sub section: 'Cards, Messages & Memories' and then into 'Obituarieshelp.org' and scrolled down the page and came to the following choices:
Other words of condolence resources you might find helpful:
1 Send Fruit Baskets for Sympathy - customer reviews of fruit baskets, sympathy food baskets and sympathy fruit baskets
2 Send Sympathy Flowers - reviews of the best florists to order flowers online for delivery
3 Sample Letter of Sympathy Condolence - samples for many situations and people.
4 Condolence Phrases - what to say to the family of the deceased.
5 Condolence Message - samples of condolence letters.
6 Condolence Examples - meaningful letters of condolence examples.
7 Free Condolence Letters - condolence letters you can copy.
8 Sample Letter of Sympathy - words to offer your sympathy.
9 Sympathy Sayings - short sayings that express sympathy.
10 Messages of Sympathy - messages of sympathy cards and letters.
11 Words of Comfort for Sympathy - Words to say that comfort people.
I clicked on Number 8 which brought up a choice of several letters. I chose the heading:
Sample Letters of Sympathy for an Old Friend
I then amended one of them and came up with the following:
'Dear XXXX,
I am writing to express how sorry Viv and I for your loss.in the passing of your xxxx.
We wish that we could be with you right now to support you, to help you, to hold you, and to pray with you. But even though we are miles apart, we're still here for you at any time to talk, to listen, and to encourage you. We'd really love to hear from you - just give us a call when you are ready.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With love and sympathy,
Graeme & Viv
As you bring brightness and encouragement to others so we wanted you to also have the opportunity to reflect on the many ways that your mother brought the same values to life in you'.
Next it was time to choose an appropriate card. For this I went to 'Jacquie Lawson. Artist' and looked at the range of over 200 available cards to choose from.
After making my choice, it was then time to preview the card in order to satisfy myself that it was appropriate and expressed the feelings that we wanted to convey.
Once I was happy with the card it was then time to add the message into the card, preview it again, and then send it.
Here is the reference to the actual card that we chose.
http://www.jacquielawson.com/preview.asp?cont=1&hdn=0&mpv=3111893&path=83545
The PS of our letter was added once we saw how the card revealed itself.
So there it is, just one way in which our 'People and Pet friendly' site can be used.
I encourage you to try it for yourselves.
By the way, should you come across any article that you believe would be appropriate to add to our site then please send me a message at Graeme@wherethereisawill.com.au.

Organ Donation - Being a hero and saving lives
It has been said that one of the greatest thing that we can do with our life is to surrender it for another person.
Time and time again we have the newspapers, TV and now even YouTube describing one heroic account after another of people loosing their lives while attempting so save another person, often even total strangers, from situations of impending and often imminent disastrous consequences .
These people are called heroes, for they saw a need and took action regardless of any personal consequences to themselves.
Well, we too can be heroes in the eyes of others and all it takes is for us to be prepared to become an organ and transplant donor.
Why donate? Because you may save up to 8 lives through organ donation and enhance many others through tissue donation.
Each day there are people dying through lack of a suitable organ being available for them to receive, whilst others continue to live in a restricted capacity of enjoyment because they too have been unable to receive a replacement organ that would offer new life to their situation.
In the United Kingdom, when asked, 'Would you take an organ if you needed one'? There was nearly a 100% positive response. But in reality currently only 29% have joined their national Organ Donor Register. Sadly at present more than 10,000 people in the UK need a transplant. Of these, 1000 each year – that's three a day - will die waiting as there are not enough organs available.
Last year in the Unites States alone, organ donors made more than 28,000 transplants possible. Another one million people received cornea and other tissue transplants that helped them recover from trauma, bone damage, spinal injuries, burns, hearing impairment and vision loss.
So, how do you become an organ donor, well here in Australia we call it the three D's, Discover, Decide and then Discuss.
You can find out everything you need to do through the Donate Life website www.donatelife.gov.au where you will be guided step by step as to the paperwork etc once you have decided that you would like to contribute.
After that, if you have not already done so, you then need to discuss your decision with your immediate family as when all is said and done, they will have the final say.
The sad reality is that currently thousands die every year waiting for a donor organ that never came. Today, you have the power to change that and become a hero to many for doing so.
If you would like to check out some more sites in relation to this issue, then as a starter I recommend that you go to the Useful Links section of our site www,wherethereisawill.com.au and look under Organ and Tissue Donations.
